TRAINING ON CONTRACEPTIVE SELECTION BASED ON FAMILY PLANNING ACCEPTORS’ CLINICAL CONDITIONS

A population growth rate of 1.22% has become a national problem and makes Indonesia one the most densely populated countries in world. Meanwhile, Malang city, which been successfully decreasing, needs to be sustained. This community service aimed help maintain this achievement by providing training on contraception pharmaceutical care aspect, especially clinical pharmacy. It is because if contraceptive preparation chosen birth control pills, choice hormonal adjusted family planning acceptor’s condition emphasizing importance medication adherence required. The problem-solving method used activity was Participatory Action Research (PAR). Techniques for delivering material were done through presentation, training, practices using visual aids. located at meeting hall RW 08, Bunulrejo Village, Blimbing District, City carried out two months with highlight event March 2022. Three types questionnaire instruments personal data related history methods used, knowledge instrument, evaluation instrument. instrument declared valid reliable results Pearson Cronbach’s Alpha correlation tests. showed that 43.48% participants experienced class 1 obesity, 9% suffered from comorbid hypertension. pre-test post-test an increase 32.46 points. Besides, three aspects assessment, including process, benefits, presenters, average score ≥ 3.50. In short, obesity hypertension comorbidity are conditions consider when choosing preparations community, although prevalence relatively small. Participant increased after training. From results, considered series activities went very well.
